Roman Residence has four room types: the Double Room, the Single Room with Private Bathroom, the Small Double Room and the Standard Double or Twin Room. Every one has a private bathroom with bidet and bath or shower, air conditioning, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV, a desk, a safe and parquet floors, and all four are listed with a view of the inner courtyard.

Each room also has a microwave, a fridge, a coffee machine, a toaster and a minibar, handy for an early breakfast or a snack after a long day out. The Double Room and the Single Room add a bathrobe, hairdryer, iron, electric kettle and heating; in the other two these items are not listed, so it is worth asking if you need them.

Double Room

The Double Room can be set up with two single beds or one king-size bed, so it works for couples as well as friends travelling together. It is one of the two room types with a bathrobe, hairdryer, iron, electric kettle and heating, and the only one that lists a fold-up bed and a cot. Like the others, it faces the inner courtyard and has soundproofing, a minibar and a coffee machine.

Single Room with Private Bathroom

The Single Room with Private Bathroom is designed for one guest travelling alone, with a single bed and an ensuite bathroom with bidet. It has the same extras as the Double Room, including bathrobe, hairdryer, electric kettle, iron and heating, and adds a laptop safe and satellite channels. It is a sensible choice for a short city break or a work trip.

Small Double Room

The Small Double Room has a single double bed and suits a couple who mainly need a quiet base for sleeping. It comes with soundproofing, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, microwave, fridge and coffee machine, and a private bathroom with shower and bidet. A bathrobe, hairdryer and kettle are not among its listed amenities.

Standard Double or Twin Room

The Standard Double or Twin Room offers either one king-size bed or two single beds, so it can be booked by a couple or by two friends who prefer separate beds. It has soundproofing, a desk, a safe, a minibar and the microwave, fridge and coffee machine found throughout. A hairdryer, bathrobe and kettle are not listed, so ask if you need them.

Which room at Roman Residence is best for couples or solo travellers?

Couples can choose between the Small Double Room with one double bed, the Double Room and the Standard Double or Twin Room, both with a king-size bed or two singles. Solo travellers have the Single Room with Private Bathroom. The Single Room takes one guest and the others up to two adults; only the Double Room can also host one child (up to three guests in total) and lists a fold-up bed, so families should ask the property directly.
